Discussion:
Gwenview, flickr upload, and tmp files

I've recently started using Flickr as a handy online backup for my
photos, using the "export" function in Gwenview. The problem I have is
that Gwenview seems to copy every file that it uploads to
/home/mander/.kde/tmp-mander-laptop.localdomain, which leads to me
running out of disk space because I have a very tiny hard drive. So I
have to go into the folder and manually delete the tmp files.

Is there a way that I can either stop this happening, or somehow make
the system clear out the tmp files more frequently than at shutdown?

By the way I'm currently using Fedora 13, mainly with Gnome but there
are several KDE apps that I prefer and use daily, so I have the core KDE
stuff installed.

Thanks for any help!

Hi Mander,

I can't really help you with this problem because I am not the
maintainer of the Flickr export plugin. This plugin is maintained by the
KIPI developers (KIPI plugins are used by several KDE graphic
applications). You can reach them on the kde-imaging mailing list [1] or
file a bug report for this plugin on http://bugs.kde.org (product:
kipiplugins, component: FlickrExport)
