Gwenview with KipiPlugins 1.2.0

I just installed the KipiPlugins 1.2.0 version, to use with Digikam.

However, Gwenview has been desinstalled in the process, and cannot be
re-installed unless I revert to previous libkipi version :(

Any idea where I can find a Gwenview version that works?

Well it depends on your distro packagers i believe.
If you can install last kipi-plugins and digikam and they need new
libkipi, that is into kdegraphics, i believe you can install new
kdegraphics and gwenview (that is in kdegraphics too) as well.

Sorry, but I don't understand what you said :(

I got the latest versions for both Digikam and kipi-plugins from this
repository
https://launchpad.net/~philip5/+archive/kde44<https://launchpad.net/%7Ephilip5/+archive/kde44>but
Gwenview is not available there.

kdegraphics and gwenview (that is in kdegraphics too) as well.

What distribution are you using? This could be a temporary problem in distribution packages.

On Gentoo I've installed kipi-plugins together with gwenview 4.4.2.

I'm on Ubuntu 9.04

When I try to install Gwenview, I get the following message:
gwenview:
Dépend : libkipi6 mais ne doit pas être installé

And libkipi7 is already installed (witj Digikam?) on my system.
