I have some ideas for possible projects you may want to mentor for
GSOC, fitting with the theme of "polishing something existing". These
may not be good projects, or you may not have time this year, but I at
least wanted to bring them to your attention:
1, Implement sorting and filtering by dimension, width, length, pixel
count, or aspect ratio. If you need to find an image for a
presentation or wallpaper this is very important. Even dolphin
implements sorting by resolution now, but gwenview does not.
2. Port gwenview to dolphin's new file view. This allows for better
performance and more fluid layouts.
3. Improve the gwenview kpart so it supports things like the thumbnail
view and next/prev buttons.
